Recently, some of the members of Kawhi Me a River have been working on what we hope will eventually become a comprehensive "game guide" for all users (although primarily targetted at new users). We've got enough of the document done and now feel that we can now present it to the community. It can be viewed here:
Moving the joystick slightly Down (South) while shooting a 3pter gives you a better chance to make the shot (Make sure your player doesn't move at all/attempts a fade) Helpful when you need a clutch 3 at end of quarter and don't have abilities or you've used them already. For layups, suddenly sprinting in one way then quickly tapping drive button once to make a spin move and then while you're about to transition into the running layup animation, moving and holding joysticks at a 45 and 135 degree angle increases the chances of doing scoop and windmill like layups which are actually effective and can get reduce the chances of the ai thinking it's a contact shot/attempt since everytime I do it with clear contact and I make it, the feedback says "layup made". Every time. I've tried it with base specialist ariza which has low SWC and get same result never have I gotten a contact made feedback while doing that. Helpful if you have trouble working the paint.
Prob everyone knows this already, but Instantly changing to auto play after either you or ai has released a shot increases your chances of grabbing the rebound. I've found it mostly works for defensively rebounding, not so much offensively. When I face UL Howard I always do this and I get as many if not more rebounds than him and AD as well as Dirk.
